Meet the woman who has it all; Sigrid Zeiner; a beautiful and talented musician who has been part of the AR Vocal Agency from the very beginning. Influenced by Ellie Goulding and Imogen Heap, Sigrid is one of our most in-demand vocalists. Already boasting collaborations with the likes of Maverick Sabre, Crystal Fighters and currently recording an EP with dance producer Draft, Sigrid is undoubtedly another ‘one to watch’ this year!

Vocalist of the Week:

Introducing Lauren Johnson: One of AR Vocal Agency’s most versatile vocalists to date. Trained by the classical sensation Katherine Jenkins and influenced by the likes of Etta James, Luther Vandross and Jill Scott, it is no wonder Lauren is in such high demand.  Her music has a strong vintage jazz and blues current that flows throughout, whilst still retaining modern flavours to rival today’s pop scene.

Already boasting collaborations with Saint Saviour, who fronted Groove Armada, and most recently, Crystal Fighters; we are psyched to have this talented lady on our roster and cannot wait to see what musical project she will turn to next.

Vocalist of the Week:

Meet Theo Brehony. Theo is one of the AR Vocal Agency’s finest funk soul artists. Influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis and the Beatles. Theo is certainly ‘one to watch’ this year. Most recently, Theo collaborated with the producer Mighty Mouse on his new track ‘Love is Gonna Lift You Up’. Other artists Theo has previously worked with include Macy Gray and Dj Spilla. 

2013 has already proved to be very fruitful for Theo; with an upcoming album release along with G.O.O.F.S, there is no predicting what this year will hold for our talented guy.

Vocalist of the Week: 

Introducing Louise Dodds. AR Vocal Agency’s leading lady of jazz. Since emerging on the British jazz scene in 2005, Louise’s career as a jazz singer has seen her perform throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East, and her debut eponymous album was featured on several BBC Radio shows. Her UK tour for the album culminated in a headline date at Pizza on the Park and a live interview broadcasted on BBC Radio Leeds. She was also a semi-finalist at the International Jazz Vocalist Competition in 2012. 

Now based in London, Louise has been performing around the city as well as continuing to perform in Scotland, Europe and the rest of the UK. This year is set to be one of even greater expansion for Louise; being one of our newest additions to the AR Vocal Agency we are eager to see what fruitful collaborations she will bring.

Vocalist of the Week

Meet Joanna Cooke. This talented young lady is one of the finest additions to our Vocal Agency. Inspired by soul sensations Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone, Joanna has created some of the most powerful and evocative melodies we have heard to date. Already boasting collaborations with the likes of Martin ‘Youth’ Glover, John Carter, and most recently, Sample Magic, Joanna is undoubtedly ‘one to watch’ this year.

Joanna’s recent collaboration with Sample Magic has received widespread praise and support throughout the UK electronic music scene. The ‘Dance Vocals’ pack the duo created serves up 300MB of killer royalty-free vocal phrases, hooks and harmonies primed for any genre of electronic music. It is currently Number ONE in Sample Magic’s download/sales chart, and in the Top FIVE on Beatport Sounds. Oh… and did we forget to mention that Joanna wrote and sung all vocals on the pack?

Meet MARS. The Toronto native is one of our newest additions to the AR roster and has personally coined 2013 as her year of expansion. Already boasting collaborations with the likes of Poupon, Prince Club and Deebs we can’t wait to see where her soulful voice will take her next!
